The owners of Hamilton and Oshawa want to buy Ottawa.


Toronto billionaire Michael Andlauer, who owns Ontario Junior League club Hamilton, has partnered with Oshawa owner Rocco Tullio to buy the Senators, the Ottawa Sun reported, citing league prediction by bestpaidtips sources.


According to the publication, Tullio offered Eugene Melnick $650 million for the team at the end of last year, but the Ottawa owner was not interested in selling the club.


Andlauer, who owns a 20% stake in Montreal, also tried to buy Ottawa from Melnick a few years ago.
